Horrible customer service! We arrived 2 1/2 hours earlier then our flight and still missed it.

Why and how? They change the gate location 1 hour before the plane was to leave while we were away grabbing some food and never announced it over the intercom. When we came back we sat down without realizing the gate change and because the flight was already delayed twice we figured it was just more delayed. Come to find out one agent came by and just verbally said it to people in the area of the gate.

We were checked in obviously they know we are there don't you think they would announce our names and call for final boarding chance. Nope!! Without any sympathy they just told us we would have to wait for the following flight which was 5 HOURS later!

And during that five hours of sitting at the airport we heard every other airline make 3-4 announcements for final boarding call and call out those passengers names that were supposed to be there but we're missing. You know like they actually cared about there passengers which SPIRIT clearly DOES NOT!!!

Do they have online check in?if so they may have not known you were actually checked in at the airport.And if you were at the wrong gate you probably would not have heard final boarding call from another gate.
