Starting out booking it did not seem too bad ... weighing the pros/cons of joining the $9 club... to save on baggage fees...

So you book your flight and select your seats( extra charge for seat selection, and thats any seat), then you select your baggage.. my case 1 carry on and 2 checked ($76). You tally it up to a pretty hefty sum ,but it is a bit lower than the competitors so you pay and get your reciept....

The reciept shows seat selection to and from and what appears to be baggage selection to and from .... wrong! ! !

when you get ready to return you find out you only paid for baggage to your destination, not back.... in my case I went on line to check in and found this out and selected baggage and paid w/ credit card but could not print because of my location and foolishly did not get a new comfirmation that i had paid...I was tired ,late in costa rican jungle.

getting to the airport.... I found I had to pay again( at the very high rate) because they could not find my online check in .. so I'm pissed and have to pay $118 more.. when i get to the gate ... spirits( not airport ) security checkers took my water bottle that I just purchased 20' feet away (normally you are allowed to carry on water bottles purchased after airport security check points )... then the spirit gestapo stop me after I entered the tunnel to board the aircraft and said I had a carry on which was not paid for ... another $40... not happy at all......

get on board to find my seat does not recline... all seats do not recline and my knees are jambed into the seat in front of me... I guess I should be thankful they didn't recline...( for the record I am of average height 5'11", 185#s)so the whole trip I had to remain bolt upright... Then came the final straw... they were serving drinks and snacks to credit or debit card holders only. I had asked if it was possible to just have cup of water...they replied.... just bottled water at $3..I replied tape water was fine..they said they DIDN'T HAVE ANY.. but they could give me a cup of ice... i said ok but it took so long for the ice to melt i went back to the kitchen to ask a different airline staff if I could add some water from their sink... they said NO... BUT IF I MUST HAVE SOME WATER I could use the water from the lavatory.... I know this may seem hard to believe butthis is not BS....

all I can say is this out fit is a ripoff stem to stern... book at your own risk ... good luck....

ITS ONLY A "RIPOFF" IF YOU ARE ***. THE TERMS, CONDITIONS, FEES, AND SO FORTH ARE CLEARLY STATED AT THE WEBSITE.

ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS READ.

AS USUAL, IF YOU DON'T READ ANYTHING YOU WILL FIND THE WORLD FULL OF RIPOFFS AND SCAMS. PERHAPS YOU SHOULD GO BACK AND REPEAT FIRST GRADE AND ACTUALLY LEARN HOW TO READ THIS TIME.

well we have the power the power as consumers to decide. this airline isn't cheap it's scummy in my opinion...

it's no different that going to a crappy 'hotel/motel' that is worse that your experience at a motel 8 or the like.

BOYCOTT this *** airline and let's see how far they go... the pricing is deceitful... i agree.

they've created a labyrinth - they keep layering on costs later.

again, its sites like these and our ability to share the experience that helps to warn others "don't let the price fool" because once they've roped you have no other choice but to keep paying for more! :(

I absolutely HATE being made to feel like a sucker! I have played carnival games at the carnival that didn't leave me feeling as foolish as the one and only time I flew on this cut rate, cut service, cut your knees, piece of *** airlines that deliberately complicates the experience to push you into one more rip you off "check the box and gimme your credit card number" gotcha category. One has to believe any company this chicken s--t is cutting corners on safety and maintenance as well as having a payscale that gets them the more marginally skilled pilots and mechanics.

I second that emotion. I sat upright on a duck taped seat.

The fold out table was duck tape too. The baggage deal is a fraud. They charge 45.00 FOR CARRY ON, this is a scheme.

They charge 3.00 for water and 5.00 dollars for a cup of noodles that nomally costs you 10 cents at the grocery store. You better fly on a real airline.
