Spirit airlines has to be the worst airline when it comes to communication, it is unbelievable. They lost my bag (that I paid $50.00 to travel with), I called and called.
No one EVER called me back. Finally, we went to the airport that we flew into because we were unable to get anyone on the phone (an hour drive each way). We flew in on a Sunday, and went to the airport on a Thursday after days of no one calling us back or answering the phone. The bag has been sitting at the airport for who knows how long, and not a single person that works at spirit even knew that.
Apparently it was never scanned when it arrived, UNREAL! I understand that companies are understaffed right now, and I was patient for the first day or two of me calling nonstop. But after day 3, my patience were shot. This company DOES NOT CARE to call their customers back.
It is very unfortunate because we just recently moved and will be making trips back home every 3 months and were excited that spirit was an option for us and all of our family that will be flying in to visit. I will not be recommending Spirit to my family members anytime soon. If that wasn't enough, my very expensive suitcase now has a missing wheel and *** the size of my fist in it. ALL IN ALL, A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE.
If we did not decide to take matters into our own hands and go to the airport, who knows if I ever would have found my bag.
I spent the week trying to get in touch with someone with zero luck, not to mention the items I had to buy to hold me over until we found the bag ourselves.
I could easily forgive the baggage being left behind and taking time to make it to the destination, the thing I am most upset about is the lack of communication and lack of remorse. I have yet to hear from anyone from Spirit, very disappointing!!!!!!

They lost our bag can't find a phone # that work. Either disconnect ed or phone hangs up.
I have had a supervisor tell me he can't help. Customer is the worst. We arrived last night 9:00 pm in Oakland from Philadelphia apparently never got put on our plane in oakland . Philadelphia does answer phone mailbox is full.
We are on vacation now you have no clothes and have wasted one day looking for our bag we paid for you to delivery from point a to point b and everyone from spirit told us to find our own bag.
We file a complaint online at airport girls at counter were rude and not helpful at all. Sheree Checchio

I was treated fairly at when bording I was made to pay for my Caring on bag and there were two other people behind me with bags that wouldnt fit in the compartment and was not charge for them The tenant asked him how many people with them and I guess she felt like since we had 3 1/2 for he had to pay for their bags which wasnt fair because their backs really long I had a suitcase that Lantico fit in but it was a little bit thicker and I felt like it wasnt fair I dont know if its racism because my husband was a different race but something should be done It was unfair because I had someone tell me on the plane that the people behind me didnt pay for their oversize bags it wasnt fair I had a little girl with a little girl suitcase it wasnt fair

Hello. This is Sueyesha KC and I was traveling to Vegas from LAX from BWI.
My confirmation code is VGD**J and last name on the reservation is KC. Spirit associate at the BWI airport changed my seats without my consent whereas I had already pre checked in and got my e-tickets. When I asked him for clearance and seat confirmation I got harassed and ignored. When I tried to explain about my disability I was eye rolled at and not heard.
They ignored my disability and assigned my seat without even letting me see my limited options. I tried to explain about my multiple established disabilities and doctors notes but the associate raised his hand and gestured me to leave with the seat I didnt want.
They also charged me for the seat I did not want without my consent and were extreme rude to me. I feel harassed and had a horrible experience to a point I am never flying spirit or recommending it to anybody

It had been resolved. Spirit airline has my one carry-on and one bag in their system. No problem.
